If you live or run a business in Karen, Rongai or Langata, you’ve probably had this conversation: a firm you like says they’re “Nairobi based,” and you’re left wondering whether they’ll actually come out to you, and whether they’ll keep showing up once the job starts.
The best interior designers in Kenya don’t stop at the CBD. R World Enterprise Ltd works across Nairobi and surrounding counties, and our portfolio includes projects in Karen, Rongai and Langata as well as central Nairobi. Here’s where we’ve worked and how to check we can take on your project.

What to ask a firm that’s based elsewhere
Distance matters most once work starts. Ask:
- “Do you serve my area?” We serve Nairobi and surrounding counties, and we confirm availability for each location.
- “Have you worked near here before?”
- “How often will a supervisor be on site?”
- “Who is my single point of contact?”
- “Will the free site assessment include a visit to my property?”
The answers tell you whether the firm will treat your project as properly as one around the corner from their office.
Homes in the suburbs
Many suburban projects are homes and villas. Our residential portfolio includes Retreat Villa, Cascadia Apartments, Treewall Apartments and Lelta Enterprises Ltd. For more on residential work, read our guide to interior designers Nairobi Kenya for homes and apartments.

Working with us when you’re not nearby
Distance is easier to manage than it used to be, but it still needs a plan. Most of the early work can happen without you travelling. Send photos, drawings and your brief by email to info@rworld.co.ke or on WhatsApp at +254 722 330 584, and we can talk it through by phone before the site visit.
Once the project starts, agree how you’ll stay informed. A short weekly update with photos keeps you close to the work even if you can’t visit often. Decide in advance who on your side can approve small changes, so the site doesn’t stop waiting for a reply.
Our office at Purple Tower on Mombasa Road is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, if you’d like to meet in person before you commit.

The best interior designers in Kenya should be just as reliable in Karen or Rongai as they are in Westlands. Ask about your area, ask about site supervision, and ask to see nearby work.
